About Me
I'm Mike! — a Power Platform developer, Dynamics 365 specialist, and builder of developer tools. I've been working with Microsoft's CRM and Power Platform ecosystem since the early days of CRM 4.0, and I still love finding the limits of what can be done with pro-code customizations.
This blog is where I share the hard-won insights from years of building real-world solutions: the stuff that's missing from the official docs, the debugging sessions that took too long, and the patterns that actually work in production.
What I Work On
- Power Platform — canvas apps, model-driven apps, Power Automate, Dataverse
- Dynamics 365 — custom web resources, plugins, PCF controls, portal development
- Azure — Functions, B2C, AD app registrations, API integrations
- XrmToolBox — open-source tooling for Dynamics 365 / Dataverse developers
Open-Source Work
I'm the author of Universal Search for XrmToolBox — a plugin that lets you search across all metadata and records in your Dynamics 365 / Dataverse environment from a single interface. You can find it and my other projects on GitHub.
Community
I've spoken at and attended multiple 365 Saturday events in the Washington D.C. and Boston areas — community-run, volunteer-driven conferences for Microsoft technology practitioners. If you're in the Microsoft tech community, come say hi!
